24/25 season review
This review does not directly cover the 25/26 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
The 2025/26 Salomon Kickback is a playful board with a Rockout Camber construction and an ultra-soft flex, optimised for beginner and intermediate riders who enjoy buttering and tricks. It can be used broadly for park jibs, small jumps and getting into all-mountain riding, providing a comfortable, fun ride experience.
That said, it may have limits for advanced riders pursuing high-speed riding or advanced techniques.

Hybrid rocker
A Rockout Camber construction with slight camber under the bindings and a completely flat section between them.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
An extremely soft flex optimised for playful riding such as buttering, spins and jibs, bending easily without catching an edge.

A very soft flex and mixed flat/rocker construction make buttering and nose and tail presses easy, suiting beginner to intermediate riders.
What the review liked
- ✓Tricks such as butters, tail/nose presses and spins are very easy to execute
- ✓Little edge catch gives it a playful ride feel that even beginners can enjoy safely
- ✓Versatility suited to park jibs and small-to-medium jumps
What the review found lacking
- —The soft flex leaves stability lacking in high-speed carving and hardpack settings
- —It isn't suitable for advanced riders or aggressive riding styles
