23/24 season review
This review does not directly cover the 25/26 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
The Split Pig reinterprets Ride Snowboards' popular War Pig as a backcountry splitboard, providing excellent climbing function and high-performance powder riding at once. It carries practical features including a brushed nylon topsheet, skins included as standard and Voilé-compatible pucks, suiting riders who want resort-level downhill performance in the backcountry too.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid camber
A splitboard based on the War Pig, with a camber profile optimised for powder and all-mountain performance, inheriting the War Pig's riding character directly.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
Inheriting the War Pig's high-performance riding character, it has a flex on the stiff side, delivering the stiffness of 'high performance thrash everything snowboarding'.

Intermediate · Advanced
A board designed for high-performance riding after a backcountry climb; as a splitboard it calls for a degree of riding experience and suits intermediates and up.
What the review liked
- ✓It reproduces the War Pig's high-performance powder riding character in splitboard form
- ✓A brushed nylon topsheet effectively prevents snow sticking during climbs
- ✓Skins are included as standard, so no separate purchase is needed
- ✓It supports compatibility with the Voilé system and other brands' bindings
- ✓Two sizes, small and large, cover riders of varied builds
What the review found lacking
- —By the nature of the splitboard construction, weight can be somewhat higher than an ordinary resort-only board
- —Using bindings other than the Voilé system requires a separate kit, so compatibility needs checking
