#powder

A directional camber board updated in collaboration with Pat Moore — an all-mountain freeride deck with powder float, edge hold and strong pop all covered. It suits intermediate and advanced riders enjoying groomers, side hits, powder and backcountry alike, with mixed glassing and an ash Power Ply topsheet balancing power against smoothness.

It's a board for riders who roam the whole mountain rather than park-only riders or beginners.

Board profile

The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.

Directional camber

A directional camber adopting traditional camber from contact point to contact point, combined with a directional shape (long nose / short tail, 10mm taper). Grip Tech 2.25 secures additional contact points underfoot, strengthening edge hold on icy snow.

How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.

7/10

Triaxial plus basalt fibreglass mixed glassing with an ash Power Ply topsheet provides strong power and pop while adding appropriate softness, allowing edge-to-edge transitions without feeling out of control — a medium-hard flex.

Rider levels suggested in the review

Intermediate · Advanced

Strong pop and power with quick response make it suitable for intermediate to advanced riders who enjoy all-mountain freeriding rather than beginners.

What the review liked

  • ✓Traditional camber plus Grip Tech 2.25 delivers excellent edge hold even on icy snow
  • ✓A 10 mm taper with a long nose and short tail gives outstanding float in powder
  • ✓Mixed glassing (triax plus biax) and an ash Power Ply topsheet deliver strong pop and power alongside appropriate smoothness
  • ✓The stance sits at the centre of the sidecut, giving a natural, almost twin-tip feel on normal snow

What the review found lacking

  • —High responsiveness and strong power can make it hard for beginners to handle
  • —Freestyle/park-only riders may find the directional shape somewhat limiting
