A specialised board that comes close to powder-only. It floats so easily it has been called cheater float, it is light, and it is strong in tight trees and low-angle powder.
On tracked-out or groomed snow, though, it is hard work.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Flat
A flat-to-rocker construction, with recent models adding mellow camber between the feet. An aggressively tapered shape bets everything on float.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A medium flex at 6 out of 10. It bends easily with good snapback energy.

What the review liked
- ✓Astonishing float in very deep snow
- ✓Very easy to turn for its width
- ✓The powder-specific tuned base is fast and holds wax well
- ✓Light with pop despite the aggressive shape
- ✓A surfy sensation of planing across the snow
What the review found lacking
- —It deflects and bounces on thick, irregular snow
- —Poor performance on groomers
- —Low versatility on non-powder days
- —Not suited to carving on edge
