This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
A directional board bridging freeride and all-mountain. Edge hold, high-speed stability and glide are its strengths, and improved setback has made powder float better too.
It suits advanced riders who want aggressive carving; if switch riding is a big part of your day, other options are better.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Directional camber
A directional camber running from a flat section toward the tail into early rise just before the nose. Setback was improved in recent seasons, bettering powder float.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A medium flex at 6.5 out of 10. Edge hold and stability are good, and pop and carving response stay alive.

Advanced
For advanced to expert riders. It doesn't suit intermediates who need to skid and slide, and it performs for riders who commit and drive it.
What the review liked
- ✓Strong edge hold and stable at speed
- ✓Fast base glide
- ✓Good pop and carving responsiveness
- ✓Usable as a one-board quiver bridging freeride and all-mountain
What the review found lacking
- —Some reviewers say the heavy base structure makes the glide feel less smooth
- —The recent topsheet change makes it deflect more on irregular snow
- —The directional shape limits switch performance
- —Unsuitable for intermediates who need to skid turns
