#carving#flex

A directional all-mountain board with excellent pop, edge grip and durability from a full camber construction and a hardwood-plus-carbon core. Its stiff flex and core-rider design optimise it for advanced-intermediate and above hard riders, and it's usable versatilely from park jumps to tree runs and groomer carving.

As the work of a Forum brand relaunched after a long absence, it successfully realises high build quality and a traditional riding feel.

Board profile

The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.

Camber

A traditional full camber construction with slight zero-camber sections at both ends but no early rise. It provides strong pop and strong edge grip on turn entry, along with a cushioning effect on landings.

How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.

7/10

A stiff, decidedly non-soft flex, with quite stiff tip and tail. Built with a poplar-beech hardwood core and carbon stringers, it has high durability that keeps the same feel even after 100 days, and while stiff it isn't hard to ride.

Rider levels suggested in the review

Intermediate · Advanced

A full camber construction and high stiffness make it unsuitable for beginners; it's a board optimised for upper intermediates and above, especially core riders who enjoy hard riding.

What the review liked

  • ✓It delivers strong full-camber pop and precise turn initiation
  • ✓A poplar-plus-beech hardwood core with carbon stringers provides high build quality and excellent durability
  • ✓It rides stably on chopped-up snow and corrects mistakes well
  • ✓Versatile across varied terrain including park jumps, tree runs and side hits

What the review found lacking

  • —Its high stiffness makes it unsuitable for beginners or casual riders
  • —Without early rise, float in powder and soft snow may be relatively lacking
  • —Heavier than existing lightweight boards, requiring adaptation to the swing weight
