21/22 season review
This review does not directly cover the 25/26 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
The Salomon Craft is a soft park board adopting a CamRock hybrid profile, delivering excellent pop and pressability in butters, jibbing and small-to-medium jumps. Low high-speed stability makes it unsuitable for rough snow or large jumps, but its excellent playfulness for the price makes it strongly recommended to intermediate riders wanting to develop their freestyle.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid camber
Salomon's 'Rock Out Camber' profile — a CamRock 2.0 layout with flattened camber through the centre between the insert packs and rocker at the nose and tail tips. It combines traditional camber's load-and-snap with rocker's easy turn initiation and pressability on rails and butters.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A soft flex below middle. Broad sweet spots sit at the nose and tail, the insert pack section is comparatively stiffer, and torsional flex is abundant. At speed the nose and tail flap badly, so stability is low.

Intermediate
It suits budget-conscious park riders and intermediates learning or developing butters and jibs. Low high-speed stability can be demanding for beginners, and advanced riders may find stiffness lacking on big jumps.
What the review liked
- ✓The camber-rocker combination provides skate-like springy pop
- ✓A wide press sweet spot optimised for butters and jibbing
- ✓Surprisingly smooth, predictable carving is possible despite being a soft park board
- ✓Excellent performance for the price gives it high accessibility
What the review found lacking
- —Nose and tail flapping at speed makes stability very low
- —It bounces a lot and is hard to control on bumpy snow (bumps, slush)
- —Insufficient stiffness on large jump landings means you need another board
- —A slightly hooky sidecut can cause problems with imprecise riding
