25/26 season review
This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
The Rome Boneless is a soft true twin with a flex of 5, carrying a playful character specialised for creative riding such as buttering, rails and presses through bamboo Omega Hot Rods and 3D nose shaping. High-speed stability and big-jump hold are lacking, but its free expressiveness and pop at lower speeds make it an attractive option for beginner-to-intermediate park and all-mountain riders.
It's a board to recommend strongly to riders pursuing soft, creative riding in the Scott Stevens style.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid rocker
A true twin shape with 3D spoon shaping applied at the nose, forming a soft and playful profile. Bamboo Omega Hot Rods run into both ends of the board to supplement pop and snap.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
On the soft side, with an official flex rating of 5. Bamboo Omega Hot Rods keep pop and snap alive compared with a purely soft board, providing flexibility optimised for buttering, rails and press tricks.

Rider levels suggested in the review
New · Intermediate
A soft flex (5) and playful character suit beginner to intermediate riders. A lack of high-speed stability and hold on big jumps means limits for advanced riders.
What the review liked
- ✓The bamboo Omega Hot Rods maintain pop and snap despite the soft flex
- ✓It's very outstanding for creative riding such as buttering, tail/nose presses and rail tricks
- ✓3D nose spoon shaping enables playful riding in powder and varied terrain
- ✓A relatively reasonable price bracket ($500–530) makes it accessible
What the review found lacking
- —Stability is lacking in high-speed riding and on big jumps, with jitter appearing
- —In powder, the soft flex amplifies impacts from irregular snow as speed rises
- —Hold and stability fall off on large terrain such as 30m tabletops
