24/25 season review
This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
The Rome Artifact Pro is a jib/freestyle-specialised true twin based on mellow positive camber and a soft-to-medium flex. It provides a comfortable, fun ride experience across freestyle in general, including flat-ground butters, rail tricks and getting into the park.
It's actively recommended to beginner-to-intermediate riders, though advanced riders and those focused on high speed and large features may feel some limits.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Camber
A Stay Positive camber profile — full positive camber but in a mellow form. It has more energy and snap than reverse camber without being aggressive.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A soft-to-medium flex, soft both lengthwise and torsionally. It's pressable, suits a jibby style and makes turn initiation easy.

New · Intermediate
A friendly, easy-to-handle board optimised for beginner to intermediate riders. Advanced riders may feel its limits on large features or at speed.
What the review liked
- ✓The bamboo Hot Rod plus camber combination gives it excellent pop and snap, outstanding for flat-ground tricks and park performance
- ✓The double kick tip design keeps the nose/tail from catching, favouring butter tricks, presses and using natural terrain
- ✓A friendly, comfortable ride feel is optimal for freestyle beginners and intermediates developing their skills
What the review found lacking
- —A washy, unstable feel can appear in high-speed riding, on large features and in variable terrain
- —The Powerslide (extruded) base focuses on low maintenance rather than high-end performance, with limits in speed
