25/26 season review
The WRX MK-T is an advanced-only board released in limited numbers by WRX as part of its 'Beast Mode' series. The combination of double camber, grip support camber and the Mark U outline delivers overwhelming grip and recovery even on rough snow.
It's demanding enough that even pro riders struggle with it, while revealing its worth in high-speed carving — an aggressive concept board built for the brand's experimentation and enjoyment more than for sales.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid camber
It adopts a double camber construction (Grip Support Camber). Based on the existing WRX Mark U outline, it quickens the sidecut at the nose and tail and lengthens the base so the gap with the effective snow-contact length is cut to 1cm. Even at the moment the edge slips out, the two fore-and-aft cambers restore grip.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A flex setting close to hard. The nose is also finished stiff, realising a stability that resists being flicked out during high-speed carving. That said, its quirks do show through in some trick situations.

Advanced
A board for advanced and pro riders only, designed on the concept of 'ride it if you can'. It's deliberately built to demanding specs that even experienced riders struggle with, making it very hard for beginners or intermediates to handle.
What the review liked
- ✓It has the overwhelming grip and recovery performance that double camber provides. The edge is hard to lose even on rough snow, and it maintains contact that always catches the snow
- ✓Stability and drive at speed are excellent, delivering an outstanding ride feel on slopes where speed has built. The Mark U outline's nose drive effectively compensates for the weakness of a cambered nose
- ✓Even at the moment the edge starts to slip during a carve, it naturally recovers grip and lets you continue riding, with responsiveness good enough to unintentionally link into a trick
What the review found lacking
- —Grip is so strong that deliberately releasing the edge is difficult, and situations can arise that even advanced riders struggle with
- —Freedom in tricks is low, and using it on narrow slopes or crowded runs carries risk. It's hard to show its worth anywhere but a wide slope
