#carving#flex

A high-performance directional deck focused on alpine exploration and freeriding, delivering excellent responsiveness and high-speed stability through carbon-reinforced construction and a shifted camber profile. Its stiff flex and precise riding character shine on steep, highly variable terrain, and it suits advanced riders who enjoy high-speed carving and backcountry exploration over buttering and jibbing.

It comes strongly recommended to riders who enjoy exploring mountain terrain rather than freestyle performance.

Board profile

The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.

Directional camber

A camber-dominant profile with a 'shifted camber' construction where positive camber runs from outside the front foot to the tail. The nose is designed with reverse camber (rocker) to provide float on soft snow such as powder, and the reverse-camber effect amplifies the more you load it.

How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.

7/10

Stiffer than medium, with a powerful tail and solid torsional stiffness. Butters and presses take considerable force and the feel is highly precise, delivering excellent stability in fast manoeuvres and steep, variable terrain — a high-performance flex.

Rider levels suggested in the review

Advanced

A stiff flex, high precision and camber-dominant profile suit advanced riders. It's optimised for fast manoeuvres, steep terrain and exploring variable snow rather than butters and jibs — a board for experienced riders.

What the review liked

  • ✓The directional design (increased nose surface, 7 mm taper, 25 mm setback) gives it excellent capability in powder and soft snow
  • ✓Full carbon layers and 45-degree carbon highlights improve weight, responsiveness and snap
  • ✓The camber-dominant profile provides high-speed stability and strong edge hold
  • ✓It delivers excellent stability and precise control even on steep, uneven alpine terrain

What the review found lacking

  • —The stiff flex and high precision make freestyle tricks such as butters and jibs difficult
  • —Limited usefulness in the park, where it's only somewhat usable for jumps
