21/22 season review
This review does not directly cover the 25/26 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
The Never Summer Swift is an all-round powder deck that delivers excellent edge grip and stability on groomers and hardpack despite being a powder-specialised directional board. A Fusion rocker-camber profile and a large 20mm taper maximise float in powder, and it's a serious-riding board that performs better the more effort you put in.
It suits intermediate and above riders who enjoy fast, large turns in open powder rather than park or tricks.
A closer look

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid rocker
A Fusion rocker-camber profile with a rocker section between the feet and camber sections outboard of it. The tail-side camber section is more pronounced while the nose side flattens out earlier — an asymmetric layout.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
Medium-stiff at Never Summer's official 7 out of 10. Tail stiffness stands out in particular, and despite the short tail it provides considerable rebound for a hybrid board. It helps reduce knee load on hard landings.

Intermediate · Advanced
Rocker between the feet can feel somewhat loose to beginners, and as a board that works better the more you put into it, it suits intermediates and up. Edge grip is good even on hardpack and performance peaks in powder, so it's recommended for experienced riders.
What the review liked
- ✓Powder-specialised design (20mm taper, setback stance, directional shape) gives it outstanding float in powder
- ✓Despite being a powder board, it delivers excellent edge grip and stability on groomers and hardpack too
- ✓The rocker profile allows comfortable riding on flats and cat tracks without worrying about catching an edge
- ✓It delivers natural, stable performance at high speed and in large turns
What the review found lacking
- —Less playful than the Harpoon and harder to make tight turns with, so it can feel somewhat stiff to dynamic trick-oriented riders
- —The rocker between the feet gives a pivoting sensation on first ride, so riders unfamiliar with Never Summer boards need some initial adaptation
