21/22 season review
This review does not directly cover the 25/26 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
A solid all-mountain board for riders who enjoy groomers with carving at the centre, delivering excellent edge hold and turn performance through full camber and a 7/10 flex. It has some powder capability too, making it a first-choice recommendation for riders who mainly ride groomers with occasional powder.
It's a board with high growth potential — the better your carving gets, the more of it you'll unlock.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Camber
A full camber profile: unlike other Korua-shaped boards with their nose-rocker-blended float camber, it adopts traditional full camber for excellent edge hold and responsiveness.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A stiff flex at 7 out of 10, with a particularly stiff tail, built from biax fibreglass and a poplar core. That stiffness provides powerful edge hold and high-speed carving stability.

Rider levels suggested in the review
Intermediate · Advanced
It suits intermediates and up who want to learn or develop carving; full camber and a stiff 7/10 flex can make it hard for beginners to handle. Its construction lets you draw more from the board's limits as your carving improves.
What the review liked
- ✓Excellent edge hold — dependable edge grip even on icy or firm snow
- ✓Excellent turn performance — natural, enjoyable ride feel in short quick turns and long fast turns alike
- ✓Strong tail stiffness — the durability to hold up stably even pushed to the limit
- ✓Fast edge transitions — the 156's 259 mm waist allows fast, easy edge changes
What the review found lacking
- —Unsuitable as a dedicated powder board — with no nose rocker, riders with a high powder proportion may be better off elsewhere
- —Low beginner accessibility — the combination of stiff flex and full camber can be demanding for beginners or riders who haven't mastered carving
