The Good RideRead source

It bucks a lot in soft, uneven snow. Past that it is a very playful, light, poppy, forgiving ride that a lot of riders will appreciate.

#carving#powder#flex

A board for intermediate to advanced riders who mainly enjoy the park but want to handle all-mountain, carving and powder flexibly too. The combination of a camber-rocker hybrid profile, Carbon VTEC amplifiers and the Death Grip sidecut gives it pop, edge grip and stability across the board, making it a sensible choice for riders who want to roam in and out of the park without a second board.

Board profile

The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.

Hybrid camber

A hybrid camber construction: traditional camber through the middle between the feet provides power and edge grip, while the nose and tail tips transition into rocker, adding float and preventing edge catch.

How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.

5/10

A medium flex — balanced stiffness that handles both landing tricks in the park and carving and all-mountain riding outside it.

Rider levels suggested in the review

Intermediate · Advanced

A medium flex and camber-rocker hybrid construction are optimised for intermediate to advanced riders moving between park and all-mountain; for beginners the response may be somewhat sharp.

What the review liked

  • ✓The camber-plus-rocker hybrid provides powerful pop, smooth turn transitions and edge-catch prevention at once
  • ✓Carbon VTEC amplifiers and the Death Grip sidecut secure strong edge grip even on icy snow
  • ✓Mixed glassing (basalt plus triax) realises fast responsiveness and a smooth ride at once
  • ✓All-round performance handling varied terrain including powder, carving and side hits

What the review found lacking

  • —Deep powder performance is limited compared with a dedicated powder board, so it isn't suited to making powder your main focus
  • —Optimised for park performance, so carving may fall somewhat short of a dedicated carving board
