The Ride 2025/26 Moderator is an all-mountain freestyle directional board for intermediate to advanced riders, delivering balanced performance across varied terrain including carving, park and powder through a medium flex and a hybrid camber profile. It suits one-board-quiver riders who want to enjoy varied terrain on a single board, holding forgiveness and fun at once.

This season brings no major changes beyond new '90s-flavoured graphics.

A closer look

Board profile

The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.

Hybrid camber

An Extra Camber profile with a touch of rocker at the nose and a flat camber section at the tail — a hybrid camber layout. It provides powder float and tail pop at once.

How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.

5/10

A medium flex providing balanced performance in both groomer carving and park riding, combining forgiveness with responsiveness.

Intermediate · Advanced

A board for intermediate to advanced riders; it's forgiving enough for intermediates to enjoy but isn't suited to beginners.

What the review liked

  • ✓All-weather all-mountain performance handles groomer carving, park, powder and natural terrain alike
  • ✓The tapered linear quadratic sidecut provides natural turn initiation with powerful yet forgiving grip
  • ✓The urethane Slimewall construction absorbs vibration effectively for a smooth ride
  • ✓Switch riding is thoroughly enjoyable despite it being a directional board

What the review found lacking

  • —Extreme performance in each area may fall short of dedicated park or powder boards
  • —With only a graphics update and no major change between seasons, there are no new technical improvements
