17/18 season review
This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
A halfpipe-specific deck developed with Canadian national team halfpipe riders, whose core feature is an 11 m large sidecut radius. Late-rise tips and a low profile provide a precise line that cuts into the snow like a blade, with excellent high-speed stability and damping.
It's a specialised board strongly recommended to advanced riders who ride halfpipe seriously.
A closer look
These descriptions and scores are linked to this review. They may differ from manufacturer specifications.
Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Camber
Traditional camber with late rise applied at the tip and tail. Unlike early rise, which floats like a spoon, it's designed for a feel that knifes into the snow. Reducing material at the tip and tail lowers swing weight and realises a low-profile shape.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A stiff flex built with the same construction as the Sabre board. A hard flex was adopted to hold high-speed lines in the halfpipe and secure stability through the damping system.

Advanced
A halfpipe-specific high-performance deck, developed with input from a Canadian national team halfpipe rider. Specialised specs such as an 11m sidecut radius suit advanced riders, especially halfpipe specialists.
What the review liked
- ✓The 11 m large sidecut radius maintains an ideal line in the pipe and allows high-speed riding
- ✓The late-rise tip and tail design gives precise edge tracking that cuts into the snow like a blade
- ✓Removing tip and tail material reduces swing weight for nimble movement in the pipe
- ✓A built-in damping system provides a stable ride even at speed
What the review found lacking
- —A halfpipe-specific board, so it isn't suited to versatile use in all-mountain riding or park tricks
- —The large sidecut radius makes tight turns difficult, lowering its usefulness on general slopes outside the pipe
