25/26 season review

YouTubeRead source
#carving#powder#flex

An all-mountain freeride board combining a C2 rocker-camber profile with a directional shape, providing powder float and powerful carving on icy snow at once. Magnet Traction and a mixed fibreglass layup mean it feels far stiffer at speed than its medium flex suggests.

It's a board usable broadly from intermediates wanting to freeride to advanced riders looking for a more relaxed ride.

A closer look

Board profile

The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.

Hybrid rocker

Lib Tech's C2 rocker-camber profile, with rocker between the feet and camber at the nose and tail. It provides a catch-free feel and float in powder while still delivering power where it's needed.

How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.

6/10

A medium flex overall, but its single-layer triaxial and biaxial mixed fibreglass build makes it feel far stiffer than it is when riding fast on hard, icy snow.

Rider levels suggested in the review

Intermediate · Advanced

It suits intermediates wanting a freeride board rather than beginners, or advanced riders who want a slightly softer, smoother feel without giving up power.

What the review liked

  • ✓Magnet Traction provides seven edge contact points in total for powerful carving even on icy snow
  • ✓The C2 rocker-camber profile and directional shape (extended nose, short tail) deliver excellent nose lift and float in powder
  • ✓The Cubed base is low-maintenance, with additional speed available when waxed
  • ✓Despite the medium flex, it responds like a hard board at speed and in icy conditions for versatile performance

What the review found lacking

  • —Unsuited to freestyle- or park-focused riders — its strong freeride bent limits trick performance
  • —Not recommended for beginners; some riding experience is needed
