25/26 season review
The Never Summer Trooper is a forgiving, easy-riding mountain freestyle board. Grip and base speed are its strengths, making it especially good on hard snow.
That said, the triple camber construction can feel frustrating for riders who want the clear response of traditional camber.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid camber
Never Summer's Fusion Triple Camber — from small camber between the inserts into rocker, then through a mellow elliptical camber into rocker just before the nose and tail. It creates a forgiving, easy-to-ride character.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A medium flex at 6 out of 10. It feels softer on snow than it does in the hand.

What the review liked
- ✓Outstanding grip without biting excessively in soft snow
- ✓Strong edge hold on ice
- ✓A fast base that holds wax well
- ✓Good durability and topsheet quality
What the review found lacking
- —Different camber sections clash, producing a hooky edge feel
- —The springy camber sections are hard to call on, making pop less accessible
- —Tracking degrades when running flat-based
- —Powder performance is limited compared with a freeride board
