This review does not directly cover the 25/26 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
The Weston Japow is not a trendy short/wide, but it truly is a pleasure to ride pow and carve groomers with. Don't just get this for powder.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Directional camber
A tapered directional shape with a directional camber profile and over 20mm of setback stance. It is not a trendy short/wide.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A medium/stiff flex, with buttering that lands in the moderate range.

What the review liked
- ✓Truly a pleasure to ride pow and carve groomers with — don't just get this for powder
- ✓Handled everything from wet late spring powder to firm, hard groomers
- ✓The 2025 Japow is the same ride as the 2021 that was tested, so the character hasn't drifted across model years
- ✓Comes in a splitboard version
What the review found lacking
- —Edge hold reaches hard snow, but with over 20mm of setback this is a directional ride, not a switch-friendly one
