24/25 · 23/24 · 22/23 · 21/22 · 20/21 · 19/20 season review
This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
A high-speed carving board filling the gap between the Dart and the Pencil. It makes powerful, satisfying turns while setback and taper put its powder float in the upper tier.
It suits advanced riders who can generate speed.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Directional camber
A camber-dominant directional construction that is locked in and quick to respond. Considerable setback and taper give it good powder float despite the camber profile. It sits between the Dart and the Pencil in Korua's lineup.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
Medium-stiff to stiff at 8 out of 10. Buttering and ollies aren't easy, but once speed builds, powerful spring comes out of the turns.

Advanced
Advanced to expert only. Its response only comes alive with speed, so it feels stifling at low speed.
What the review liked
- ✓Outstanding high-speed carving performance
- ✓Upper-tier powder float despite the camber profile
- ✓Strong damping lets it handle bumpy snow well
- ✓Stable edge hold with a consistent feel underfoot
What the review found lacking
- —Slow turn initiation on groomers, so it needs speed
- —Not suited to switch riding or messy snow
- —The medium-stiff flex limits buttering
