25/26 season review
The Rome Ravine Pro is a high-performance directional board specialised for all-mountain freeride and powder, with Shift Camber and a Directional Diamond 3D nose as its core strengths. A stiff flex and powerful edge hold provide confident riding for skilled riders, and it suits exploring the whole resort and backcountry powder riding best rather than the park.
Some of Rome's signature freestyle sensibility is built in too, making it a board that shows high refinement in the all-mountain freeride category.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Hybrid camber
A 'Free The Ride Camber' construction where traditional camber runs from the tail to near the front binding, then transitions softly to flat and on into reverse camber (rocker) toward the nose. A directional-camber-based hybrid.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
On the stiffer side of medium: the nose's large platform makes leverage comparatively easy to get, while the short tail demands more muscle. Overall it provides the high responsiveness and solidity befitting all-mountain freeride.

Advanced
A stiff flex means drawing out the bend takes considerable strength and skill, and its design centred on high responsiveness and power suits experienced riders.
What the review liked
- ✓The Directional Diamond 3D nose design gives it excellent powder float and catch-free behaviour
- ✓The combination of Carbon Omega Hot Rods and Shift Camber provides powerful, confident edging and carving performance out of the tail
- ✓Flax material and flax impact plates provide vibration damping and a smooth ride feel
- ✓It delivers high stability and edge hold when riding fast
What the review found lacking
- —Its strongly directional design is limiting for park/freestyle tricks and switch riding can feel somewhat awkward
- —With no rocker release in the tail, manoeuvrability in powder falls somewhat short of a full rocker board
