The 2025 K2 Freeloader is a high-performance splitboard designed for faster ascents, sharper descents and deeper backcountry access. An ultralight paulownia Tourlite core and ICG 20 technology provide a light, energetic ride, and a tapered tail with a wide nose delivers excellent float in powder.

It's a specialist splitboard for intermediate and above riders focused on backcountry and powder riding.

Board profile

The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.

Hybrid camber

A directional design for backcountry and powder performance — a hybrid camber construction with a tapered tail and wide nose that provides buoyancy in powder.

How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.

7/10

A lightweight paulownia Tourlite core and triaxial braided fibreglass make for a medium-hard flex that is light yet energetically responsive.
