This review does not directly cover the 26/27 model you are viewing. Specifications and ride feel may vary by season.
An alternative freeride board aiming at aggressive carving and air tricks together. The overhaul reduced the taper, raising versatility, and carving spring and pop are its strengths.
It's for technical advanced riders.

Board profile
The profile describes the curve of the board when viewed from the side.
Directional camber
A directional camber that is mostly camber with considerable early rise just before the nose. It's easier than full camber but still not forgiving of skidded turns. A recent revision reduced taper and widened the tail.
How stiff is it?Closer to 10 means stiffer. It does not mean better performance.
A medium-stiff flex at 8 out of 10. Good pop and responsiveness make it favourable for getting airborne.

For advanced to expert riders. You need to understand technical turns and be able to drive them with a positive back-foot angle.
What the review liked
- ✓Very strong carving with outstanding spring coming out of turns
- ✓Good pop and responsiveness, an advantage for air tricks
- ✓Definite powder float thanks to the setback despite the reduced taper
- ✓Improved tail width has improved landing stability
What the review found lacking
- —It feels somewhat heavy
- —It gets scratchy on firm, irregular snow
- —Its strong directionality makes switch riding demanding
- —Not suited to jibbing or park tricks
